- City Farm SLO: A 19 acre agriculture reserve on the south end near Target. This is a collaboration between government, non-profits, private funding, businesses, and educators. Their aim is to grow crops sustainably, educate, and display an urban farm. It's broken into parcels with various farmer renters.
- Our Global Family Village: A part of City Farm SLO that contains a no-dig market garden, permaculture landscapes, and demonstration areas from different parts of the world. Accepts volunteers on Sundays, 9AM - 12PM (as of Dec 2020). Use the contact form on this site's home page.
- Cal Poly Center for Sustainability: Information about their programs and efforts. Accepts volunteers.
- Grow Abundant Gardens: Soil testing and amendment recommendations for central coast gardens.
- 7th Generation Design: A regenerative landscape consultancy that creates resilient, productive, thriving landscapes on large scales.
- Carmichael Environmental: Environmentally safe and responsible landscape design based in San Luis Obispo County. They are made up of Cal Poly horticulture and landscape architect graduates.
- Elationscapes: Permaculture landscape design company. They work to ecologically restore lands.
- Heart and Soil Farm: A 133 acre organic farm between San Luis Obispo and the coast. They are a group of farmers and educators that work towards regenerative agriculture.
- Los Osos Valley Organic Farm: They offer an organic farm to table CSA, sell at farmer's markets, and provide veggies to local restaurants. They love to host farming volunteers.
- Kandarian Organic Farms: Grows foods that benefit the environment for farmer's markets and CSA boxes. They focus on traditional and unique crops.
- Templeton Valley Farms: A California Certified Organic farm. They run a farm stand and sell eggs and honey too. I often see their ads for job opportunities on Craigslist.
- Outlaw Valley Ranch: 100% grass fed livestock, specializing in lamb. They use rotational grazing to improve the land and produce superior animals.

- Kelly Reed Daulton: Healing and pain relief through applied neurology and movement.
- Potter Plumbing: Based in Cambria, they provide solutions for grey water, rain harvesting systems, and other types of water projects.
- Water Wise Group: Wholesale distributor of greywater systems, located in Templeton, CA.
